Created interchangeable parts on core tubes that resulted in reducing 24 assemblies to 16. Managed projects to achieve concurrent design progression on all parts. Design of new sheet metal and plastic parts using Pro/engineer and AutoCad. Worked on the development and manufacture of a new top load washer design, “Genesis”. Setup and managed the product engineering drafting department and master print room. Created, setup and administered a database of users and drawing files for AutoCAD and Pro/engineer files. Managed the ECN process by assigning the highest priority requests through coordination between engineering staff and drafting personnel.

Duties include preparing detailed scale design and component layout drawings. Prepared assembly, assembly specifications, and material specification drawings. Transferred to Research and Development Department to help design a new product line.
