Lead and facilitate partnership development between various employers and workforce development stakeholders in Arizona utilizing the Pipeline AZ employment/talent management system. This system is developed and supported by Futures Inc. Develop connections to support a variety of employers and job seekers. Create support strategies in the engagement and development of employer industry-focused training and talent pipeline needs. Gain further support regarding industry talent pipeline of employment needs through the Pipeline AZ system. The Pipeline AZ system assists job seekers to assess skills, define a job search and connect job seekers to employers.Provide leadership in the community while fostering relationships that result in new funding opportunities and support for Futures and partners. Develop and maintain relationships with a broad base of Arizona industry representatives, keeping abreast of employment trends, emerging fields and employment needs.

Assist the President of the State Association for Career and Technical Education of Arizona (ACTEAZ) in leading and promoting the Association.Advocate the ACTEAZ efforts to support faculty, staff and students across Arizona.Support partnership development between employers and secondary and postsecondary education.Advocate and embrace Career and Technical Educational Opportunities for students. Support workforce and economic development to promote a growing economy in Arizona.Adjunct faculty at Grand Canyon University in Education teaching leadership and strategic planning/change management courses

Support the economic development efforts of attracting new and existing business in Maricopa County.Coordinate economic development efforts with the Maricopa Colleges.Advocate and represent MCCCD in Maricopa County initiatives emphasizing WIOA and program funding.Work with employer partnerships to facilitate resource development.Utilize economic impact information of program areas to enhance business and industry relationships.Create funding support opportunities to assist in the growth of college CTE programs.Communicate information to business and industry regarding occupational program success and create additional support opportunities.

• Responsible for workforce development efforts for the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) comprised of ten colleges with enrollment of over 200,000 students.• Responsible for all workforce development, economic development, healthcare education, workforce research and resource development for the MCCCD.• Responsible for 15 administrators and staff in the workforce areas.• Assist the ten colleges in evaluation of existing and development of new occupational programs. Coordinate overall initiatives regarding the career and technical education planning for the district.• Supports and develops partnerships and resource development with the ten colleges with business, business and industry, schools, universities and municipalities to facilitate workforce development training and employment county wide. Manages district wide occupational program evaluation and planning.• Responsible for over 2.2 million in budget and grant funding.

• Responsible for all career and technical education programs and workforce development and services on campus including 96 degrees and certificate programs. • Managed and directed a comprehensive program review and program assessment process for all occupational programs. • Responsible for 85 full time and 184 part time faculty, and 37 staff all in the occupational areas.• Directed all operational/capital budgets for all occupational programs. Managed over 50 partnerships, five comprehensive grants, and 18 advisory committees with business and industry, high school districts, non-profit organizations and government entities for instructional delivery and workforce development planning. Conducted strategic planning related to program development and growth, assessment, and evaluation of occupational programs.

• Responsible for the following departments: Business and Information Technology, Technology, Communication/Foreign Languages, English/Journalism, Applied Science, Chemistry, Counseling, Philosophy, and Social Sciences. • Managed curriculum scheduling, enrollment management, classroom support for occupational and academic programs. Managed over $3 million in budget money to support occupational and academic programs. • Developed partnerships with business and industry and economic development organizations to promote workforce training. Increased advisory committee participation in 17 occupational program committees by 11%.• Developed a new program review and assessment processes. Developed over $600,000 in equipment and scholarships. Managed Carl Perkins and NSF occupational support grants

• Assisted the Dean of Student Development in the overall administration of the Student Development services. • Supervised Admission/Recruitment Student Activities and Assessment services. Implemented and directed a Strategic Enrollment Management System and early warning alert system. • Managed student conduct and discipline matters Acted as Dean of Student Development in her absence.

• Administered and directed a comprehensive counseling, advising and career services program at the largest campus of the Pima county College District. • Taught Psychology and was Department Chair for human development education classes. Offered job-training classes to the underemployed. • Managed and evaluated 11 counseling faculty, and 10 staff.• Acted frequently as Dean of Student Development in the absence of the Dean.
