Joined the Applications Support Team in November of 2015.The Sr. Application Analyst will work within SSB IT to deliver technical solutions to all areas of the organization. This position will work with the business to design, test, and deploy applications that support the strategic direction of the organization. This position also involves all aspects of supporting new and existing applications. Specific responsibilities include:1. Assist with supporting existing applications by working with business users to analyze their issues and drive to a resolution2. Work with business analysts to validate that the design of a potential solution fits within the SSB technical architecture3. Work with existing incident management application to triage application support issues4. Participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)5. Work with the application development and third-party implementation teams to ensure change management processes are being followed 6. Work with the application development and third-party implementation teams to conduct quality assurance checks before conducting user acceptance testing7. Assist with developing testing scenarios to validate application functionality meets the business requirements8. Began working for National Bedding/Serta in June of 2003 as a Help Desk Programmer. In December of 2003, promoted to Help Desk Administrator. In March of 2014, promoted to Support Desk Manager of the newly merged Serta Simmons Bedding LLC, IT Support Desk.

Fairchild Printing was sold in 2000 to the Graphics Group - a consolidation of several smaller industry related companies. Continued as Operations Manager of this new corporation and was instrumental in converting to another custom business system.Trained to manage the first EDI system including online ordering and credit card payment system. Soon after this system was implemented, the Operations Manager position was outsourced/downsized.

Began as Data Entry and Assistant Operations Manager Promoted to Operations Manager after two years. Managed the entire IT area of the Company. Managed up to 4 office staff, and building maintenance crew of 2. Took additional programming courses in Fortran and became applications programmer, modifying custom application from CRC Information Systems on Digital, MicroVax system. Originally designed for furniture manufacturing industry, it was adapted to be used in the printing industry. The System, as it was called, covered every area of the business from Estimating, through production, costing, job tracking, and accounting. Wrote and maintained training documentation. Took additional industry specific training in Estimating for Printing,Additional duties included designing, implementing and maintaining the entire network. Negotiation of communications contracts and all IT hardware and supplies. Oversaw the installation of a new phone system and maintained the system including software programming, hardware installation and maintenance, and custom cabling.Responsibilities also included Management of the Safety Committee, training and reporting.
