The battle continues for Adult Residential Facilities, and other options....for supportive or independent living. Thus, Adults with Intellectual or Physical Challenges (age 22 and above in most states. My next goal is integrated Senior 55+ housing with Adults with the above challenges. The need kept growing for housing for these awesome, now young adults. We are the largest ARF in CA with 50 residents, 23 staff, and a lot of fun. Working on a second facility due to our waiting list. Designed and built with my Board of Directors, and private sector capital only, a 50 resident Adult Residential Facility (ARF) in Laguna. We are licensed with the State's Community Care Licensing, and have a one of a kind independent living facility for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.The need is huge and the vision is for residents to have unsurpassed opportunities for social growth, emotional fulfillments, enhanced dignity, and quality through assisted independence.We are a 501c3 non profit and learn more at www.glennwoodhousing.org.
