Satori was a USPS-postal software company, building USPS-compliant systems for preparing physical mailings for our customers. The best analogy is tax preparation software. We do all the paperwork and required for you to save the most money and comply with USPS rules and regulations.During my time as an engineer during this time frame, I:* Finished, certified, and maintained our CASS engine. -- A CASS engine is best described as an expert system that processes semi-structure, user-provided address information into valid US addresses.* Maintained and certified our PAVE presort engine.-- A PAVE engine is a piece of software that processes CASS output and then 1) barcodes and sorts a mailing; 2) produces all required paperwork by the USPS.* Extended, updated and certified our NCOA engine.-- NCOA is change-of-address processing, determining if, when, and where people have moved to.* Designed and build out a UK Address Correction engine.-- Analogous to the US CASS engine, this is an expert-system understanding how to work with, verify and correct a UK addresses.
