I am currently working for the Federal Government once again. I now work as a Management and Program Analyst with Department of Homeland Security. I have a diverse work experience in both the private and military sectors. Within the private commercial sector, I worked as a project or program manager for over 20 years. My last program management position was with BAE Systems where I served as the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Program Manager in Sealy, Texas. While serving with Mobil Oil for 8 years, I worked as a maintenance and production supervisor, buyer/contract administrator, and a process and project engineer. Within the U.S. military, Colonel (retired) LeCompte served as an Infantry Officer in the Army for over 30 years with 8 years of active duty experience and 22 years of reserve experience. I retired as an Army Colonel in June 2011 having served in a myriad of Command assignments to include Brigade and Group Commands. I spent my last two years of military service in Afghanistan and Iraq. In Afghanistan, I served as the Deputy Program Director for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP). In Iraq and Germany, I served as the Contract Management Officer Director for the Department of State.
