I lead the development of a bespoke analytics solution that would utilize in-network claims data for large PPO's, produce normalized, cost-of-care prices for over 100 different procedures. In addition to the analytics solution, we also had a mobile app and website that the health care consumer could use to shop for various physicians and see the price that they and / or the plan would bare the cost of. The power of the solution gained the attention of the largest blues plan in the country, leading to a master service agreement. We successfully exited the venture in 2015 and merged with a Texas-based healthcare analytics company.
