Currentโ Promoted to provide leadership and governance to five full-time managers, two Box Office Managers, and all part-time staff. Manage day-to-day operations and lead the successful execution of concerts, sporting events, corporate functions, and outdoor events for the 11,000 seat Maverik Center, which was home to the 2002 Winter Olympics.โข Conceptualize and execute the strategic vision. Author business plans and roadmaps Create measurable and trackable metrics. Institute new processes and reengineer existing procedures, to establish and continuously improve operational efficiencies, customer experiences, and growth.โข Direct daily operations, lead a team of direct report managers, and staff. Develop and monitor KPIs, motivate and mentor team members, evaluate performance, and create team and personal success plans.โข Play a key role in booking center events, planning, and directing overall staffing including, box office, event services, and operations. โข Partner with the general manager, ensuring alignment and providing strategic advisement on facility marketing initiatives, promotions, booking, and growth opportunities. โข Build and cultivate external relationships to drive center utilization and partner brand loyalty. Utilize industry trends, attendee feedback, and competitor intelligence to create data-driven, โVoice of the Customerโ roadmaps to improve event experiences.โข Lead contract negotiations for promoters and organizations using Maverik Center. โข Full financial accountability, including assisting with annual budget preparation, event budget /cost management, and forecasting. Assist GM and Controller settling shows at the conclusion of each performance. โข Additional dotted line responsibilities and oversight include Parking operations, food and beverage, security, health and safety, crowd management, production, maintenance, patron complaints and hiring, training, and scheduling of event staff.
