I work with the scheduling department on a daily basis to meet customer demand on the shop floor. I mentor 4 coordinators for the Hand Add area who are responsible for maintaining work instructions for our processes and to work with our associates to ensure they have the tools to do their work. They also interact with Quality and Engineering, as do I to ensure IPC A-610 Industry Standards as well as Customer Specifications are met with the products we build. I maintain a training matrix of my associates to show their certifications and what product they can work on. I am a member of our production management team and I work with other department managers to support production efforts in other s areas on our shop floor to meet customer shipments. I have a background in Lean Manufacturing and Theory of Constraints. My department has been implementing One Piece Flow methods into our production lines and has been successful at reducing through-put times and increasing product quality. I enjoy working with people, my philosophy is to work with people so that they are better today than they were yesterday and that they continuously improve their skills and themselves.
