My current position includes teaching classes in Physical Science, General Lab Science, Biology, and Environmental Science. My students range from freshman to seniors. In my tenure at the school I have resided on the districts Middle States Review Committes for Technology Improvement and Safety, the Districts Safety Committee, Coordinator for Prom/Drunk Driving Simulation, Boys and Girls Jr High Soccer Coach, and Envirothon Advisor. I was also grant writer for $15000+ of awarded grants for two science based projects at the high school including the Weatherbug weather monitoring system (Eagle Foundation) and the PA Chapter of Trout Unlimited's Trout in the Classroom Program.

Our organization was instrumental in the rebirth of Leaser Lake from its existence as a high hazard dam owned by the PA Fish and Boat Commission. As coordinator of the fish habitat restoration program, I worked with PFBC personnel to develop a lake habitat restoration program. I then embarked on a fundraising/informational campaign to raise funds for installation of these fish habitat structures. I wrote an $18000 grant which was awarded by the Pennsylvania Lake Management Society as well as worked with the PFBC Habitat Division on a $10000 grant awarded through the National Reservoir Fisheries Partnership. We have since completed a $100,000+ fish habitat project which also included four youth programs which included construction of habitat structures, macroinvertebrate/fish identification, and conservation practices. For my work I was awarded the 2012 PA Lake Managment Society Award for my service along with a resolution from the Lehigh County Commissioners for my contributions to the county.
