I am presently working at the YMCA as a Nationally Certified Personal trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Working in this field has allowed me to use my leadership and communication skills to motivate people to move in the direction of a healthier more functional life style. Having a positive impact on the lives of a diverse range of people who by improving their quality of life has been most rewarding. I am looking forward in reaching out to many more people who are interested in improving their quality of life.My previous experience includes the following: Mastered Postal Management and customer service with 36 years experience. Fine-tuned my leadership skills being elected two terms as local branch president for the National Association of Postal Letter Carriers and then as elected branch Vice President of the National Association of Postal Supervisors. Serving in these positions I was sent to Capital Hill on a number of occasions to lobby Congressmen and Senators sharpening my communication skills. As a Supervisor, Customer Service I was able to refine my problem solving and customer relation skills. Working as a Electronic Technician for ABDick Co gave me working knowledge of basic electronics. Obtained my mechanical background through obtaining a automotive technology certificate that included 900 hours of class room training and working as an Auto Mechanic. I furthered my automotive knowledge by going back to school to learn body and fender. Gained more experience in the automotive industry working for Pontiac as a combination body and fender mechanic.
