I worked as a civil engineer for the federal government from 1979 to 2012 in a variety of roles (planning, survey, design, contract preparation, construction inspection, contracting officer's representative (COR), with roads, bridges, and nuclear facilities) with the Forest Service and the Department of Energy. In 2012 I was offered the opportunity to serve as a support missionary for a four year term as a Host/Project Manager at the Alliance Mission Home in Bangkok Thailand. During this time I was able to use many of my skills to improve the facilities and manage the project. In 2017 my commitment in Thailand ended. I am now back in Tri-Cities WA.
