Hello my name is Randy Profeit I am 26 years old and I am a 4th year PLT looking for an opportunity to advance my career on the powerlines. I am currently with Valard Construction. I have been with Valard since 2009 and I am currently working at a warehouse until Valard calls or I get a new job. Valard paid for my schooling and I had a contract with them but that just ended at the end of April 2016. I have completed the PLT courses at NAIT and I have passed the Red Seal Exam as well. I have 184 more hours of work until I am a journeyman. Most of my Career has been based around building substations and Transmission lines. I am eager to learn. My major goal is to forward my career and gain as much experience as possible on the power lines. I am also willing to work in substations if needed.
