I now own Nailed it Contracting. We provide service to retail and restaurant concepts. We offer Tenant improvements in new shell buildings as well as demo and remodel of existing spaces. We can coordinate all aspects of construction. We have extensive experience with drive thru additions, hood installations and kitchen equipment installations. We have a strong background in IT services so we can work hand in hand with your data provider. We believe that coordination and communication are one of our strongest points.Previously, I have been a construction manager for Café Rio since July of 2015. In that time, I managed the construction of 50 restaurants and 10 remodels in Utah, California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, and Colorado. It was my responsibility to find general contractors that fit within the budget. I would work closely with the chosen contractor to see that the store was built within our timeline to be able to open the store on time. I managed change orders and quality control throughout the project. All subcontractors had my cell phone number to better communicate and solve problems quickly. I worked with the Architect and Engineers to work through issues as we built the store. I was responsible for submitting plans for health permits and working with the health department to arrange inspections. I hold a current serve safe certification. It is important to know all health requirements to better build a safe and comfortable store. I never failed a health inspection.I also managed all signage for all stores throughout the country. Working with our marketing department and various sign companies we designed assorted styles of signage for each location. We developed standardized pricing to better predict store costs. Once the signs were designed, I worked with our sign vendor and local city officials for permitting. Once permitted I coordinated installation with other project managers and contractors.For 11 years prior to working at Cafe Rio, I was a subcontractor, doing Network, Telephone, Audio, Security Camera systems and Point of Sale installations. I was responsible for overseeing installation and connections for all devices. I worked with general contractors and subcontractors to install all, as required by their construction schedule.
