Reported to CEO. Chaired Operations Committee of the board, and chaired Information Technology Committee. Member of the executive team that developed and updated the bank's strategic plan. During my tenure, the bank expanded from $135mm in assets with eight branches to nearly $600mm with sixteen branch and LPO locations. I managed a staff of 12 FTEs in I.T., retail payment systems, compliance, deposit and loan operations at the bank's central operations center. Projects managed included two mobile banking implementations; EMV implementation and debit card mass reissue; online banking conversion; e-statement roll-out; debit card instant issue system installation; commercial and mobile remote deposit capture implementations; opening branches and loan production offices in West Texas, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Austin; and successful merger and data conversion of an acquired bank in 2017. Responsible for regulatory examinations and audits of I.T. and operations functional areas, vendor management, and budgeting / cost control related to I.T. and operations. Incorporated a new business continuity plan and disaster recovery testing program.

Three months after SNB opened as a de novo, I was brought aboard to manage multiple areas of the rapidly-growing bank's operations. SNB completed nine bank acquisitions in Texas and New Mexico between 1996 and 2005, growing to $2B in assets and 44 locations, and I managed parts of the convert / merge projects related to those acquisitions. In addition to those projects, I led teams responsible for ATM and debit card conversions, item processing system conversion, implementation of fixed asset and accounts payable applications, and wire transfer software implementation. Day-to-day responsibility included management of 45+ FTE operations staff handling statement and mail processing, day-two exceptions, GL and other reconciliations, ACH origination and file processing, wire transfer department, and item processing at four centers. I managed the operational integration of SNB into BBVA Compass.
