Utilized land acquisition, entitlement, and site development skills to deliver 940 finished lots in fourteen active projects while securing entitlements for 781 additional home sites in four future Legend communities.  Provided feasibility study support for new land acquisitions, including assistance with the creation of development budgets and timelines. Managed site acquisition and development activities for new projects in all active Legend market areas. Coordinated project planning, engineering, contract management, legal and title issues, and entitlements.  Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and consultants, as well as with governmental entities, community groups and the public.

Initially hired as Land Acquisition Manager, I lead the NW Division growth into the Portland market while working collaboratively with a geographically dispersed land acquisition and land development group. I successfully directed the acquisition and development with projects in multiple western United States. Conducted market research, and cultivated relationships with owners, developers, architects, and other corporate, industry, government and community contacts to develop a continuous pipeline of new business. Located and evaluated properties for potential development. Initiated planning, engineering, environmental and legal services for the design, governmental approvals and construction of development sites. Achieved project goals by maintaining current land development budgets, completed budget variance reports monthly. Prepared acquisition reports for corporate approval including physical, political, environmental, legal, cost estimates and yield analysis.
