About Randy Sarafan

I am a veritable 'jack-of-all-trades' that is equally adept at electronics, metalworking, forest gardening, product development, photography, robot building, cake baking, trend watching, sewing, data analytics, video editing, and digital fabrication (to name a few). Over the years I have posted hundreds of pieces of instructional content online, and oversaw the creation of hundreds more as head of the Instructables Design Studio. My published books include "Homemade Robots" and "62 Projects to Make with a Dead Computer." I have a BFA from Parsons School of Design and and and an MFA from San Francisco State University.
