Exxon - Chayvo OPF Expansion (05/2009 – 08/2011)-Sakhalin Island, Russia: Expansion project to an existing Exxon refinery. The facility is designed on a modular basis of equipment. Instrumentation for monitoring, control and safety are wired to local equipment rooms (LER’s) that are attached to selected modules.Responsibilities: AutoCAD drawings for:-Control Systems (block diagrams, instrument location plans, building layouts, installation details)-Telecommunications (rack face elevations, cable schematics)-HSE (fire & gas detector location plans) PDMS ReviewReality for locating instruments and determining proper installation details. Intools for generating and referencing wiring reports, loop diagrams, and instrument indexes. Maintain project directory, books, master drawings set, and document list. Communication with New Deli office for document squad checks and 3D model changes.Valero Energy (10/2007 - 05/2009)- Coke drum replacement projects: The removal and installation of coke drums at three Valero refineries.- Expansion and reliability project: Remove control valves for servicing and reinstall. Installation of new motor-operated valves and control valves. Install Foxboro I/A and Triconex SIS.Responsibilities: Performed field surveys to verify existing instrument locations, wiring, cable routing, and determine future installations. AutoCAD drawings for location plans with conduit routing, junction box and control panel wiring diagrams, panel layouts, installation details, and loop diagrams. PDS for 3D modeling of inline instrumentation (control valves, flow devices, level devices) and offline instrumentation (remote mounted transmitters, junction boxes, local panels). SmartPlant Review for locating instruments and determining proper installation details. Demolition drawings for location plans, junction box and control panel wiring. Cable schedules, conduit schedules, and instrument design index.
