• Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization• Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program• Ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of the organization• Develop forms, brochures, and records for the program activities• Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the organization• Request quotes and supply the program with needed materials – includes shipping of materials• Collect event information and details from the local event leaders. Setup and maintain online event pages through the peer-to-peer fundraising platform – collection of sponsor logos, data entry, event registrations, etc. • Recruit/interview and select well-qualified event leaders and volunteers• Setup, receive, and approve applications for program events based on qualifications set forth by the organization. • Engage volunteers for appropriate program activities using established volunteer management practices• Supervise event leaders/volunteers and ensure best practices are being followed • Coordinate the delivery of services among different program activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency• Maintain and develop guidelines and best practices for the events and volunteers• Communicate with funders/ local sponsors as outlined in funding agreements• Develop a budget and ensure that the program operates within the approved budget• Monitor and approve all expenditures at the local level • Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures• Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks• Monitor the program activities and conduct an annual evaluation according to the program evaluation framework
