PSST provides workplace safety and health program reviews, gap assessments, site inspections, OSHA-required safety training, and workplace safety program and manual development. PSST can provide these services, under contract, to other consulting companies that have more work than their staff consultants can complete. PSST is also able to provide EM 385-1-1 guidance to organizations that will be performing federal construction work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).I am currently providing safety and health oversight as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for a USACE project at the U.S. Air Force Academy for an extensive renovation of the Cadet Field House. The renovation involves the interior demolition and rebuilding of the offices and locker rooms for the hockey, basketball and volleyball athletic departments, installation of new basketball arena flooring, and the replacemet of the hockey arena dasherboards and acrylic top sections. Future work will involve the demolition and rebuilding of the indoor track and field arena. This project follows the safety requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Health and Safety Manual, EM 385-1-1. As the SSHO, I provide safety coverage for plumbers, pipefitters, iron workers, drywall and drop-ceiling installers, pipe insulators, electricians, and scaffold builders. Show less
