  As an analyst at Chevron, the relatively small size of their IT shop in Canada placed me in the roles of Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Architect, Systems Architect, and Developer. I specialized in working with the business to create new technical solutions, to leverage existing systems to deliver business solutions, and to integrate existing systems to provide lower cost results. In these roles I supervised and trained both local and overseas support resources. When training, I leveraged my skills as an actor and improvisational artist to create a safe environment that fostered learning. Prior to working for Chevron, my experience was in biomedical research, which allowed me to establish critical thinking skills and develop methodological approaches to problem solving.
