Following 18 years in Healthcare Facilities Management and another 24 years in Contract Sales, it was time to retire. Since then I have established “Randy Timms Consulting” and have the pleasure of working with several clients in Europe to better understand the American marketplace and demands on floorcovering of all types.Since my professional background included a unique flocked fiber textile, Luxury Vinyl Tile & Plank, Linoleum, sheet vinyl and rubber, I am able to converse on many levels and explain to manufacturers how they might expect to create sustainable relationships in this market.Besides consulting, I enjoy Randy Timms Photography. My love for photography dates back many decades and I am using those accumulated skills to photograph completed projects for owners, architects, and manufacturers. Having an understanding of how photographs should be taken to emphasize products, in addition to the space itself, takes a trained eye and experience. Some of my former employers use my photographs to this day! On occasion I shoot weddings and other events for family and friends. If I can assist your company with product and market knowledge, or, if you need follow-up documentation of your completed project, contact me and I will be happy to provide a very competitive quote.I served as a Plan Commissioner and then Trustee for the Village of East Troy beginning in 2001 and was elected President of the Village Board in 2013. In April of 2016 I was elected to the position of Walworth County (WI) Supervisor for District #1. My committee assignments with the county included Public Works, Human Resources and Planning & Zoning. I'm proud to have served the Village and County in this capacity and now completely enjoy retirement from political life. In 2016 I became an Advisory Board Member for Leadership Walworth and continue to work in Marketing and Recruitment.
