Ensure that specifications, dimensions, and welding symbols from blueprints and drawings are followed. Quality control of welds and finished products, ensure that finished products pass inspection and are up to code. Maintain safety standards onsite, correct safety infractions. Other duties include working with general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate work schedule, problem solving, and finding acceptable solutions.

Performed welding, fabrication, and installation of structural building components as well as architectural rails and stairs using smaw, fcaw, gmaw, and gtaw. Was also responsible for safety, quality control, and weld inspection.

Performed sub arc welding, flux core arc welding, gas metal arc welding, stick welding, and air arc gouging in the production of wind turbine towers. All welds had to pass weld specs and UT scan also did repairs on welds that failed UT scans. Had to maintain American welding society certification in all welding methods.
