Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit society in February 2002 and began operating its four port facilities, divested from Transport Canada, in April 2002. Acting as an advocate for the harbour, the GVHA is working to improve its function as a working harbour and a marine with a strong focus on tourism.

Led the day-to-day business operations and teams, executing business strategy. Chief negotiator with all levels of government and external stakeholders, including First Nations, for leasing requirements and development of Harbour Air’s operations across BC. Built award-winning teams and employee culture. Appointed Harbour Air Executive Committee Chair and primary external representative. Proud to have been part of the leadership team that achieved the first carbon-neutral airline in North America in 2008 and completed the world's first successful commercial electric aircraft test flight.

The company owned and operated marinas, resorts, and restaurants in three countries. During my 14-year tenure at the Oak Bay Marine Group, I led the operations of 18 divisions and 1000 employees in Canada, the United States, and The Bahamas. I was responsible for the operations to manage 60 chartered aircraft per week to the resorts.
