Was responsible for designing and implementing all new Travel features. This included searching for flights and hotels, displaying live flight status, currency conversion and a concierge service.- Implemented Home Screen and Today Screen plug-ins for Pocket Express. These plug-ins display a summary of news, weather and stock market information in an animated display. All code was aware of power states to minimize battery consumption.- Undertook a thorough code review of Express and OnDemand to reduce memory usage and to increase startup and operating speed. Runtime memory usage was reduced by over 60% and startup speed was doubled. Also improved error and resource handling to greatly enhance stability and reliability.
