Randy Castleman has been investing in emerging technologies and funds for 25 years. He is currently managing partner of Carbon Drawdown Collective, the investment and philanthropic unit of a family office. He is a co-founder and director of Fauna Systems, which is commercializing the world's first living robots. Previously, he was co-founder and managing partner of Court Square Ventures (Automated Insights, CSTV, Yandex), an early-stage venture firm backed by Blackrock, Lockheed, HHMI, and other institutional investors. Randy then allocated into venture capital, growth, secondaries, and co-investments for Signature Family Wealth Advisors (now Brown Advisory). As managing partner at SRF Management, Randy advised larger family offices on direct investing, fund formation and fund management. Randy was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Harvard's Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, where he helped commercialize the use of DNA for data storage. He has a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School.
