I began my employment succeeding College; the President of Zions Bank hired me to take over the contract that Zions Bank had with IBM where I serviced all the banking terminals at every branch. Soon thereafter; I assumed responsibility for the oversight of all ATM programming and installations. My job entailed working closely with the Contractors installing the ATM’s and Qwest’s installation of land lines as well as installing the control boards and modems needed for ATM’s to communicate with our main computers.In 1980 I moved to California to accept a job with Fujitsu Communications where I was trained on programming and troubleshooting their large PBX Systems. My specific division of Fujitsu Communications specialized in and manufactured PBX systems (large phone systems) for companies. I was one of five IT Field Service Technicians that were sent out (nationwide) to troubleshoot and resolve any and all problems that could not reach resolution over the phone. I have over thirty years of knowledge and personal experience in telephony-based programming and modem-based communication systems, which in turn has provided me with adaptability and a strong student-mentality.
