IT leadership position reporting directly to the Board of Directors, tasked to develop the core infrastructure, processes and team for the FSBG holding group's three chartered banks to centralize and bring fully in-house all IT staff, planning, implementation, and monitoring functions. Key Achievements:▪ As IT staff during TSBG Jack Henry conversion, I directed both the JHA installation for that bank while maintaining on-going operations utilizing the exiting MSP. Worked closely with Bank staff to ensure an IT infrastructure to allow the bank a successful core conversion from Fisrv to Jack Henry. Assisted in conversion core conversion at other two charters.▪ Provided critical guidance in evaluating the existing IT infrastructure related to the ability to deploy the SaaS Jack Henry hosted environment. Spearheaded efforts to replace the core VMWare server clusters and successfully replaced of all Teller equipment and core banking VMWare VDI systems for all seven branches. ▪ Replaced phone system and calling tree with modern VoIP system. Restored local numbers to branches and developed fully bilingual call tree and after-hours notifications.▪. Completion of the installation and testing of the new emergency generator system installed at the TSBG Main office. The system was successfully tested during the ice storm with no loss of core power systems despite the weather.▪ Planned new role for Comcast for enhanced internet services with carrier-independent SD-WAN redundancy, with almost $3.6k/month savings. Fiber and SD-WAN model established as standard across all three banks at 24 locations.▪ Coordinated enterprise consultants to assist in integration of Active Directory, and migration of three separate Microsoft O365 tenants into a single subscription. ▪ Installed an Azure instance of the N-Able N-Central RMM solution with SentinelOne EDR integration. Piloted the rollout with TSBG then pushed to enterprise as a whole with minimal interruption for end users.

IFMC is a non-profit 501(c)4 membership-based organization that is here to drive civic action, promote, and advocate for Internet Freedom. I joined the Board in April to press the county to invest in community-controlled fiber.

Replaced aging VMware servers while migrating critical infrastructure to Azure, then replaced the local network hardware to create a new subnet and domain to align with the new Azure instance.▪ Managed a workforce with both full-time and contract employees. Led a much too small team to accomplish multiple Stretch Goals while maintaining standard SLAs through close cooperation and constant communication. ▪ Installed new Meraki routers, firewall, VPN and content filtering.▪ Transitioned company from on-prem system to SaaS PureCloud VoIP environment, with simplified call center queues, dialer campaigns and automated IVR with AWS Lex integration, with an initial saving of over $400k.▪ Set overall direction for IT security policies and procedures for the organization's technology environment moving from HIPAA to HITRUST. As IT Security Officer, managed security risk assessments, including responses and remediation.▪ Completed multiple internal and external vulnerability tests with no Major or Critical issues identified for two years.▪ Completed the company AWS ecosystem migration to Azure infrastructure. Decommission of unused AWS services resulting in over $4000/month savings.

Contractor for Home Access Health through Medix with same duties as listed above.Key Achievements:▪ Transitioned existing operational support of network, servers, voice and development operations to new MSP contract. ▪ Hardened network infrastructure and completed the company's first PEN Test with no external vulnerabilities identified. ▪ Implemented Azure Multi-factor Authentication service for multiple platforms, including VPN and M365 Admin.▪ Deployed full Office 365 Suite, providing a consistent and supportable environment for the corporation. ▪ Updated and migrated company website from AWS to a managed platform.

Contractor for Astellas through Randstad Life Sciences. Oversee IT infrastructure network processes for Astellas Americas Infrastructure and Communications offices in North and South America. Coordinate technical operations, change controls, and documentation for multiple outsourced network and voice infrastructure providers. Provide network infrastructure support and analysis for company SCCM and IaaS/PaaS efforts with Azure and AWS.Key Achievements:▪ Coordinated major software upgrade and testing of CUCM/UCCX; implemented fast-track completion of the redesign of customer-facing IVR for corporate offices and call center agents.▪ Delivered $150K in annual savings and nearly $80K in refunds by reviewing current WAN/Telco billing and identifying multiple accounts with billing issues. ▪ Installed, configured, and monitored a new SolarWinds server, which proactively identified multiple issues with potential impact to customers. ▪ Coordinated infrastructure Change Management for North American operations, with multiple redundant data centers and offices in the US, Canada, Brazil and Columbia. Contractor for Northwestern Mutual through Apex Systems. Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to monitor server and service infrastructure and provide proactive notification of potential problems. Installed and configured software and hardware; managed the network servers and technology tools. Monitored performance and maintained systems according to requirements; provided troubleshooting for issues and outages. Key Achievements:▪ Coordinated with Aruba conversion project to setup NOC Aruba WiFi AirWave monitoring solution.▪ Provided third-level support for Active Directory services, Exchange 2010, including migration to Exchange Online, Ironport email, Proofpoint email monitoring, Good Dynamics, Good for Enterprise, Skype for Business Unified Communications, Sharepoint, and Netuitive predictive software. ▪ Developed initial NOC cadence for “Follow the Sun” turnovers and process for documentation of turnover events.

Contractor for Abbott Laboratories through Pyramid Consulting. Oversaw global LAN/WAN operations to provide NOC support to Abbott offices, manufacturing, and laboratory facilities in over 150 countries. Maintained global network connectivity for global telecommunication companies, complex data centers, and multiple third-party vendors. Provided support for Cisco routers, Extreme Networks switches, F5 load balancers, and Bluecoat and Riverbed data optimization. Maintained Avaya connections and telecommunications system.

Team Lead for Central Midwest District, with more than 12 technicians, Provided Project Management for retail and business offices across Chicago and the Midwest. Conducted analysis and heat mapping for new sites' Cisco WiFi. Oversaw regional Active Directory accounts for local users. Key Achievements:▪ Regional lead for five midwestern states and ten Technical Support Engineers. Coordinated support for six major business offices, multiple telco switch sites, over 70 retail locations across the region.▪ Provided project coordination for all new site installations and the integration of three major company acquisitions. ▪ Served as local and regional subject matter expert for field operation policy and procedure, Cisco networking equipment, Aruba VPN, retail and office installations, LAN/WiFi/WAN troubleshooting, telephony systems. ▪ Coordinated pilot of Office Communicator in Chicago, allowing the decommission of all local PBXs, local voice PRIs, and desk phones resulting in circuit cost savings of over $12K per month.

Provided Project Management for installation of agency’s initial LAN, including preparation, review and selection of RFP for both in-house network, computers and document handling system as well as a new Accounting software for state and federal policy compliance. Provide user and technical support for new and growing LAN with over 200 users. Maintain Windows NT BackOffice Server and 100 networked Windows 95 clients.

As Director of a large department critical to the company’s core mission, including personnel, training and deployment, I introduced several new organization and service delivery methods still used extensively across Chicago. I was directly involved in almost all aspects of company policy development and monitoring. To modernize the facility, I coordinated the purchase and maintenance of computer hardware and software, then developed and maintained a consumer database for company. I served as primary Medicaid/Medicare policy/analyst for development of implementation standards to maintain compliance with local, state and federal statutes.

Traveling extensively in the west, I provided due diligence on new market opportunities for Medicaid reimbursed assisted living facilities. I coordinated with MIS personnel on testing and implementation of some of the initial instanced of remote LAN access, development of WAN with business sites in four states, and initial company Internet access and WWW site development. Thru extensive research in state priorities, service needs, and reimbursement methodologies for business opportunities, I recommended and did initial hiring and setup for a successful start-up in Las Vegas. Developed initial state approved policies to ensure compliance with Medicaid and Nevada procedures at new facilities.
