Responsible for working with the engineering & installation staff to plan/manage the procurement, assembly and testing of the LCLS II Laser system project. Components ranged in complexity from simple mechanical hardware to complex magnet and vacuum assemblies.• Work with engineers, designers, and technicians in the fabrication and assembly of the LCLSII Linac system project. Components will range in complexity from simple mechanical hardware to magnet and vacuum assemblies. • Research potential vendors and other information necessary for the submission of requisitions; visit vendor sites to determine the fabrication, quality control, and documentation capabilities of local machining, welding, brazing, plating and paint shops. • Work directly with the procurement department for all requisitions related to the LCLSII Linac system project. Schedule and facilitate the timely procurement and delivery of materials and services needed for project according to master plans. • Interact with engineers, designers, SLAC purchasing personnel, and other technical experts as necessary; discuss long lead items and challenging components that are inherent in the system; clarify issues with drawings until all the parts for the system are purchased. • Obtain quotation and purchase requisition placement of fabricated parts, assemblies, and materials with vendors.• Coordinate fabrication and assembly of parts and systems with SLAC manufacturing.• Track and expedite Purchase Orders for on time delivery.• Serve as manufacturing liaison between external vendors, SLAC manufacturing groups, and collaborate with LCLSII engineering for resolution of technical issues.• Coordinate receiving and handling of delivered parts, assemblies, and materials.• Track material certifications, QC data, and test data for parts and assemblies.• Plan and coordinate manufacturing materials for test, vacuum bake, and installation readiness and verify documentations for assembly sign-off.

Responsible for the safety and experiment support of all users, scientists, and SLAC laser personnel. Manages the operation of the Personal Protection Systems in the experimental hutches. Duties include testing, modification, troubleshooting, calibration and maintenance of the instrumentation and controls for LCLS research equipment and conventional plant facilities. •Ensured optimal results and safety by effectively interacting with scientists, area managers, & users.•Reduced new user issues by managing the installation of a dedicated floor coordinator station in NEH. •Developed an efficient, user-friendly online key safe e-log database resulting in increased data integrity.•Increased efficiency by creation of crossed referenced vacuum consumables master inventory listing.

Responsible for all aspects of this Audio/Video business specializing in the sales, installation & support of electronics integration and technology; commercial projection, home theater, lighting control, whole house audio, security, home networks & intercom applications. Currently conducting alpha/beta testing for leading edge IP based distributed entertainment networks company. Recent highlights include:• Fremont: commercial building - boardroom and training center project . Responsible for the design rough in and trim out of a projection systems & front office doorbell application.• West San Jose: outdoor theater - BOSE all weather outdoor theater design and installation.• West San Jose: 1800 sq. ft. renovation whole house 12 zone project. Designed, managed, & installed all aspects of a whole house NetStreams DigiLinX system. • Los Gatos: 2200 sq. ft. remodel project for high-end townhouse. Designed and installed home network, phone, cable, and home theater system. Two zone home audio custom speaker installation. • Almaden Valley: 4000+ sq. ft. renovation whole house 14 zone project. Responsible for the rough in and trim out of a full home automation Crestron system installation.
