I created and implemented sourcing strategy for SPES BOS (Balance of Systems: Fabricated Steel, Plastic Parts, Steel Piers, Stamped Sheet metal, Galvalume roof structures, Fasteners, Wire and Cable) commodities for ground mount trackers and rooftop systems. I expertly achieved annual Cost Reductions of 10-12% ($15-20M with an annual spend of $150-200M). I managed 4 Senior Sourcing Managers responsible for BOS Components. I set smart cost reduction goals for each Commodity and developed our bi-annual Commodity Strategies presented & approved by Executive Management. I regularly collaborated with Design Engineering to drive specific redesigns responsible for Steel product cost reductions >10% Completed VMI agreements to shorten products with long lead times; extend payment terms and ensured Supplier Quality systems matched our Corporate Quality requirements for 8D, CAPA, RCCA, and overall Mfg. I successfully launched (Hardware) Digital Media Player as well as (Software) that manages Digital Media Player to meet the targeted release of January 2007. I skillfully streamlined the New Product Hold process to ensure that Sales Orders were properly released, and all Digital Signage customers had the proper training and support for products. Managed all Printer products for the Imaging Division. Directed seven Business Managers and two Supplier Quality Engineers in bringing to production our Printer product line (Inkjet, Laser, Digital Cameras, Consumables). WW expenditures in excess of $1B. Group was responsible for managing the entire New Product Introduction process (supply chain design, supplier selection/validation, product cost and quality, leadtime and all contract negotiations).
