• Supervise power department and perform the assembly, refurbishment and testing of single and three phase uninterruptible power supplies, battery systems and power distribution equipment including their modules and components. APC/Schneider-Electric, Xtreme Power, Eaton /Powerware, Emerson/Liebert, and Mitsubishi primarily. • Ensure all power and control wiring connections are made properly with proper voltage and kVa / kW load bank settings for all startups and power quality testing of UPS systems. • Facilitated in the development and manufacture of a new production line of custom heating element assemblies used in etching equipment with great success and over 95% first time quality shipments and over 90% achieved on-time. • Revised original assembly and operational manuals from engineering into a more functional and complete document to be used by assembly line employees.• Established and maintained a proper 5S work area combined with strict UL and FM standards. • Performed and monitored calibrations, modifications, and functional tests on pressure transmitters, magnetic flow detectors & converters, valves and their automated positioning controllers.

• Delegated duties to other technicians on shift to ensure that all UHP gas and liquid systems in the Class 100 production floor were properly assembled, tested and inspected for quality. Novellus and ASML gas and chemical delivery systems were primary systems responsible for.• Responsibilities included maintaining proper production flow, training of new technicians, use of lean manufacturing methods, and auditing of parts to help maintain inventory. • Oversaw the layout, wiring and testing of PLC panels and control enclosures for various clients along with cable termination and assembly of harnesses with point to point connectivity and voltage withstand testing.• Tested and inspected all systems and enclosures completed on shift for quality and proper operation. Checked all Swagelok and Parker VCR and VCO fittings for proper gaskets and leaks using mass spectrometer leak detector. • Edited any discrepancies in OEM drawings and schematics that came from real world situations.

· Hired as a contracted Total Gas and Chemical Management technician at the former ST Microelectronics facility in Phoenix, AZ performing preventative maintenance, service and change-outs in the sub-fab and inside the class 10 clean room.· Pyrophoric and hazardous gas cylinder replacements and liquid chemical vat maintenance were performed using proper PPE and respirator at all times.· Deionized water delivery and clean dry air filtration systems were maintained while on shift.

· Performed complete functional testing, down to component level when needed, of ASM’s Epsilon 3200 epitaxial low-pressure chemical vapor deposition system used for 300mm wafer fabrication.· Any failures or anomalies found during testing were directed to the mechanical and/or electrical technicians for repair. Robotics, chemical & gas delivery, high vacuum systems, control and power electronics were inspected using various testing and analysis equipment before shipment.

· Worked onsite as a contractor at the former Motorola BMC Fab 6 and at Intel’s Ocotillo facility inside their class 1 and 10 clean rooms performing preventive maintenance and service on Applied Materials plasma etch equipment.· While not on-site, performed the refurbishment and testing of various SMT and auto-insert machinery at AER’s facility for Rockford-Fosgate & Jabil. Occasional service calls made to both client’s Tempe facilities.· Applied Materials etch, Watkins-Jonson CVD, KLA-Tencor and ASML lithography fabrication equipment were common along with various OEM projects for the replacement and disposal of rods for nuclear facilities.· Tested new SL1 & SL2 gas delivery piping systems in the Intel Fab 12 sub-fab by pumping lines down with vacuum pumps and using helium leak detection equipment to certify lines for operation.
