I am a detail-oriented person, and I pride myself on being a hard worker. Some people choose to work day-to-day for their paychecks, but I choose to work from one goal to another. It isn't about my paycheck at the end of the week, it's about moving forward with my career and making my interactions really mean something.I am a Senior computer engineer at Michigan State University, and I have worked hard the last few years to discover what I'm passionate about through my involvement in studies and interacting with all different types of people. I am proud of what I've learned in this time and can't wait to bring it to my career.I recently finished my first internship, and I can safely say that utilizing what I learned from school has taken a lot of effort. You can take in a lot of information, but oftentimes, you don't get the chance to use what you've learned, to see how what you're doing is really going to change something. I've come to realize that applying what I know doesn't cut it either. Everything is so complex and intertwined, I have to take a step back and continue to learn on the job! I can see puzzle pieces that fit together, but why do they fit together? That is the curiosity that I'm bringing with me, and it's what'll keep me going.
