Holiday Retirement currently owns and operates 310 independent retirement living communities in the U.S. and Canada, serving more than 30,000 residents. With 36,713 total units, Holiday Retirement is North America's largest provider of independent senior retirement living by capacity. The company is the fifth largest owner of all senior housing in the United States. I oversaw 13 communities in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Florida. When I took over the region it was one of the bottom 3 regions in the company. Within 12 months the region was the fastest growing region in the company. This was accomplished by addressing the culture of the communities within the region. The goal was to get everyone focused on a common vision for their respective community and highlight how each position fit into that vision. I focused on not just the “what” to do but the “why”. We celebrated the performers and set up training and mentoring programs to help provide the resources needed to succeed in a service industry. My responsibilities included:• Full P&L oversight - Overseeing $31M in revenue• HR Functions - Hiring, training, conflict resolution, performance management, motivation and retention• Sales and Marketing – Managed up to 30 members of the sales team , including 3 regional sales managers. Responsible for the day to day sales responsibilities including lead/tour/move-in volume, CRM compliance and outbound marketing efforts.• Resident Relations – Sought out resident feedback to ensure that we were providing an enriching environment and work to resolve any concerns they brought up.• Food Service – Monitored quality control, menu compliance, sanitary standards and cost control• Maintenance – Ensured all communities were safe, attractive, well maintained and operating within the budgetary guidelines

Responsibilities include overseeing multiple markets across the country, developing teams, forging and maintaining relationships, generating revenue growth, and managing profitability through operational and inventory structures.
