The front-end requirements were very report orientated, which resulted in 50 different reports to be included in the model. It also required snapshots of data for specific reports to be sourced on specific days within the month, which had to be incorporated into design in a way that doesn’t conflict with the rest of the models strict monthly snapshots.Property Management Company: Leasing Tracker – This model tracks the Leasing, based on 4 different data constructs, namely New Deals, Outstanding Renewals, Vacancies & Rent Reductions. The challenges in this model were mostly due to the differing nature of the data sources, for e.g. New Deals are the inverse of Vacancies, making the linking of the back-end complex.Mining Company: Procurement Model – This model tracked the procurement spend , allowing end users to slice and dice information according to spending groups, sites, material groups, time periods, manufacturing process or according to buyer / buying department.
