Mr. Larson has nearly 40 years proven leadership experience in managing and directing business and growth strategies for large engineering and construction firms. He is an expert source within the AEC industry for leadership development, strategic planning and sales, business management and profitable growth. Serving in roles of President, Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of two ENR top ranked firms (Atkins/PBS&J and PSI), Mr. Larson is recognized for his contributions to driving company success. Mr. Larson has been exceptionally active in leadership roles within prominent AEC industry associations and is an elected Fellow of both the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Construction Managers Association of America (CMAA). In 2013, he was recognized as an ENR Top 25 Newsmaker. Outside of the AEC industry, he has served as a member and Chairman of the Tampa Sports Authority. And as an active member of his community, he served three terms as a City Commissioner and also as Mayor of Plant City, Florida. Currently, Mr. Larson serves as the inaugural Chairman of the Plant City Economic Development Corporation.Mr. Larson received a BSCE from the University of Florida. He is a licensed professional engineer in five SE states, a registered general contractor in Florida, and a Certified Construction Manager-Ret.
