His tenure at DuPont as President of Mobility & Materials saw record earnings and free cash flow, culminating in a successful $11 billion divestiture to Celanese in 2022. Randy Stone previously served as the Executive Vice President of Lab Solutions at Avantor (AVTR, NYSE). In this role, Mr. Stone provided leadership for nearly 5,000 global employees, delivering revenue of approximately $4.7 billion in 2023.Prior to joining Avantor, Randy Stone was the DuPont President of Mobility & Materials (M&M), an industry leading global business delivering annual sales revenue more than $5B and EBITDA above $1B. Under Mr. Stone’s leadership from 2016-2022, the business delivered record earnings and free cash flow while significantly improving operational and commercial excellence. Following DuPont’s decision to divest the business, he successfully led the divestiture, management presentations, and due diligence process with potential buyers. Mr. Stone is credited with implementing the growth, innovation, and productivity strategy that more than doubled the total enterprise value of the division during his tenure.From 2016-2019, Mr. Stone was part of the DuPont senior leadership team which executed one of the largest Merger of Equals in US history. The Dow-DuPont merger transaction had a combined market capitalization of approximately $130 billion at announcement, and Mr. Stone played an integral role in the portfolio and organizational design, synergy realization, and growth of the combined company.Prior to his business president role, Mr. Stone worked on the DuPont investor relations team, including the proxy fight with Trian in 2014/15. During his IR tenure, he worked extensively with large institutional investors, sell-side analysts, proxy advisory firms, investment banks, and major media.Mr. Stone possesses broad experience working in global environments, including five years as a DuPont Asia Pacific Managing Director residing in Shanghai, China, from 2007-20126.Mr. Stone is currently a Member of the Board of Directors for CTS, an NYSE-listed company that designs and manufactures smart solutions for diversified industrial and transportation markets.Mr. Stone earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from South Dakota State University and an MBA from Lehigh University.
