I suffered a heart attack March 5th, 2020 and have since hung up the headphones. I’ve got tons of people to thank for my radio career and what a blast it was. I won’t go through all the names of the PD’s and GM’s who hired me but you each have my special thanks. The radio industry has seen many changes from the day I was first hired in 1974. Ernest Sparkman, the owner, General Manager of WKIC/WSGS in Hazard, Kentucky gave me my first job and trained me to on the board.Joe Agostino with “PureGoldOldies.com “ was the last owner, GM, PD who believed in me and I’m greatful. I was very fortunate to have been ‘on-the-air’, all those years and loving every minute of it.
