9-5I'm Randy McEntee, a distinguished authority in Autodesk Flame with over 20 years in the industry. Currently, I serve as the Founder of The Department of External Services, located in Chicago. My focus here is uncompromising: delivering exceptional work through exceptional service for the world’s most demanding clients.During my 13 years at The Mill in New York and Chicago, 7 of which were as Head of 2D, I orchestrated large, international teams to deliver groundbreaking visual effects for the world's most ambitious clients. My responsibilities also included forging and sustaining critical relationships with major brands such as Verizon, AT&T, GEICO, Allstate, and State Farm. These partnerships culminated in award-winning and impactful campaigns.I've had the pleasure of collaborating with an illustrious client list encompassing industry leaders such as Versus, Psyop, Parliament, Preymaker, The Mill, Framestore, Method, Chapeau, Apple, Google, Facebook, and Nike.As a member of the Visual Effects Society, I'm part of a global professional honorary society representing the full breadth of visual effects practitioners.5-9Dedicated to improving the Autodesk Flame community, I am deeply committed to enriching the Flame community as the Chief Community Officer of Logik. I have cultivated a thriving network of Flame Artists worldwide since 2020. I am also the Administrator for the Logik Forums, which has a membership of 1,700, and I manage the Logik Discord community, currently standing at 700 members strong. Furthering my dedication to education and development in this field, I founded and currently serve as Head Instructor at Logik Academy Pro, an online school committed to elevating the skills of Flame Artists.My dedication to the Flame community and the field has been recognized through my nominations for the Autodesk Flame Award in 2021 and 2022. Moreover, I was honored to be named Autodesk Community Member of the Year in 2022.My educational background is in Philosophy, which I studied at Northeastern Illinois University. This has enriched my skill set by enhancing my analytical and problem-solving capabilities, especially in the intricate world of Flame.At home, I’m a devoted husband and father. My incredible wife, Abby, makes all of this possible.  We are proud parents to three wonderful children—Sam, Ren, and Marilla—and our beloved pup, Dali.
