Enterprise Data Architect
Current● Reporting directly to the Vice President, this role gives me the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization and to utilize my technical skill sets while also showcasing great communication skills to all levels of the enterprise. ● Lead enterprise data architect on various strategic projects. Most recently, I was the project lead / data architect on a Salesforce implementation. This included retiring an old CRM, ensuring all functionality was replaced in Salesforce, and that all reporting was converted to utilize the data warehouse. There was integration of over 20 source systems to enable this functionality. ● Participate in enterprise-level strategic planning sessions to assist with project prioritization, roadmaps, architecture patterns, and to set direction. ● Recently started a new “data modernization” project for which we will be utilizing a micro-service architecture with real-time / near-real-time data being streamed to Mongo via Kafka. ● Strategize with the data management team and senior leadership on defining architectural patterns and monitoring adherence to said patterns. ● Assist our data modelers with design concepts and with creating logical and ultimately physical models. ● Participate in architecture reviews of database and ETL changes. ● Assisting in the planning, architecture, and implementation of the PowerCenter to Cloud (IDMC) migration project.
