My wife and our two boys give me purpose. They will always be the reason for everything I do and a factor in every decision I make. Aside from family life I enjoy problem solving and managing projects and other team members. I've been told I should have been a comedian but I grew up both reading the comics in the newspaper and doing the puzzles on the opposite page. I thoroughly enjoy solving problems, being social, and coordinating a team, but the time spent with my family is what I value most.Currently I am a Contract Maintenance Manager. I run a contract and lead a team that travels to and maintains Army Reserve facilities and equipment. When an issue or need is discovered I coordinate a repair or replacement as needed. Product and supply locating and ordering also falls under my lead so I am not only responsible for finding what is needed, but finding a supplier or contractor when needed and working with them to get what we need efficiently.In the past I have worked in more of a sales and customer service role. Because of the training I completed in that capacity I am now able to work better with facility coordinators, other contractors, and other businesses that we utilize to complete our tasks.Outside of work I enjoy, as stated above, any time spent with my family but also volunteer at our church as a musician. I also blacksmith when time allows and work on restoring classic vehicles with my father and brother.
