Included in this role was strategic relationship management for all vendors, development partners and service providers that supplied product and services related to wireless communications.In the course of the 6+ years in this position, I introduced and delivered industry leading solutions and developed first to market architectures that separated GD-Itronix from the competition. First, I conceptualized, justified and developed a high-power WLAN module in a form factor that is standards based, but was not available commercially. This solution provided long range, reliable communications for the US Air Force and many commercial emergency service organizations. Next, I conceptualized and put into action a plan to build a stand-alone, wide-band modular antenna architecture that will revolutionize the mobile computing industry. The architecture is under patent review and will put GD-Itronix in a leadership role for cost effective and reliable communications across all necessary frequency bands. I also introduced GOBI to the rugged industry and was the first to integrate and deliver an embedded GOBI solution in a rugged platform. Several have followed since, but being the first to adopt this revolutionary capability, but also the first by several months to deliver a working solution … is leadership. For the first 10 months I supported a 6 state region ( Wa, Id, Mt, Or, Hi, Ak ) of engineers and introduced AVAYA core technologies and services for their Service Provider market space. We did many seminars and topic specific briefings to large strategic groups. We were responsible for a training our business partner channel and educating the Service Provider market of Avaya’s capabilities.

I am continually in front of the clients to aid in the discovery of the technology need or requirements and then it is my responsibility to bring solutions back to the client that meet or exceed their needs.
