· Directly responsible for providing engineering assistance to logically troubleshoot and implement solutions to operational problems affecting production including the development and transition of new manufacturing processes and the enhancement of existing manufacturing processes.· Create/maintain manufacturing documentation according to guidelines found within TS, QS, and ISO standards.· Determine root cause of failures using statistical methods.· Establish standards to confirm and validate manufacturing processes, produce cost estimates for new designs, and coordinate equipment purchases and installation.· Develop corrective actions and offer recommendations for improvement to upper management.· Administer preventative maintenance (PM) program.· Machine processes: boring, deburring, grinding, high-pressure washing, hole making, leak testing, milling, pin/bush pressing, reaming, threading, & turning.

· Responsibilities included daily troubleshooting & preparing manufacturing documentation detained under QS/ISO standards.· Conferred with suppliers regarding raw materials and specifications.· Provided written and graphical work instructions to communicate manufacturing requirements to production personnel.· Applied engineering principles to process issues and made decisions for adaptations and modifications.· Machine processes: bore grinding, deburring, gear hobbing/honing/grinding (generating & profile)
