Impeto Medical is a privately owned medical device company formed in June 2005 with the US operations based in San Diego, California.Impeto Medical has developed a technology that assesses galvanic skin response.Based on this technology, Impeto Medical has developed SUDOSCAN, an active skin conductance test. During my tenure, I accomplished: • Unit sales increased by over 400%.• Developed and introduced re-occurring revenue stream that contributed millions of Incremental revenue within 2.5 yrs.• Restructured and expanded independent sales organization to establish national coverage.• Implemented standard performance metrics for all independent representative to improve quality of representation. • Developed network of distribution companies for both acute care and POS market coverage.• Expanded market potential by increasing physician specialties to include Neurology, Cardiology, and Podiatry.• Established formalized training manual and on-line access to all sales resources to expedite both the training effectiveness and efficiency of sales network.• Established private label partner for Podiatry market securing unit placements in previously unserved segment.In-spite of (or most probably because of) the exponential increase in system placements and physician utilization, third party and Medicare reimbursement and physician utilization was substantially choked off with new LCD's and Medical policy updates. Joining MediPurpose, Inc. in 2006, I experienced rapid promotions within this International medical device company established in 2000 as a leader in the safety lancet market. My responsibilities expanded from a US Sales and Marketing focus to global initiatives with my promotion to President / COO in 2008. With the release of two new product lines, primary focus was expanding our worldwide distribution and direct sales capabilities paramount to ensure rapid market penetration.

Recruited by President as part of a new management team needed to upgrade the sales organization for the market leading distributor of medical rental equipment. Sales leader for the Southeast team of 15 sales professionals located in 12 states and accountable for combined revenues of over $32 million annually.

Record of rapid promotion with this medical device start-up company established through venture capital funding. Served as Senior Executive holding responsibility for P&L, product sales, international business development, market positioning, strategic partnerships, contract structuring/negotiations, and customer service. Managed a 50-person team comprised of sales (1 National Sales Manger, 6 Regional Directors and 36 sales representatives), marketing, clinical and customer support personnel.

Recruited and promoted to revitalize the sales organization throughout a four-state territory for the largest home healthcare distributor of products and services in the US. Replaced majority of sales team, introduced new sales processes and account management systems, and refocused team on market/account penetration. Managed 11 branch offices and directed a 19-person sales team.

Accelerated career path with this market leading distributor of clinical laboratory supplies and equipment generating $700 million in annual revenues. Prepared and executed sales strategies, established corporate contracts functions and directed a team of 6 regional sales managers and 45 sales representatives managing a $143 million, 15-state Western region. Held full P&L responsibility and management accountability for seven branch offices supporting customer service and shipping.
