    Responsible for engineering issues during construction and commissioning of packaged and combustion equipment for a world-class gas processing facility.Specific work examples: Led engineering involvement in procedure development, review, and execution of one of the largest refractory dryouts and subsequent inspections carried out by a single project in the industry; governed by 4 independent procedures covering 31 vessels and over 10 thousand metric tons of pre-forged and castable refractories. Coordinated the testing / validation of two dozen non-traditional diesel burners, resulting in significant schedule savings over the permanent burner(s) method. Managed contractor’s push-back and addressed all proposed changes to the baseline dryout schedules required by our procedures. Coordinated functional support from shareholder's refractory experts for procedure reviews as well as post-dryout inspections. Completed more than two dozen confined space entries for hands-on refractory assessments of sulfur handling vessels. Assessed refractory damage and played a major role in the engineering decision to order repairs or leave-as-is. Organized and chaired three distinct technical level weekly meetings to discuss company / contractor engineering alignment on all packaged equipment issues under my responsibility (combustion, machinery/cranes, and packaged, skid-type units – over 140 packages). Coordinated the review of vendor deliverables and organized discussions for diverse technical issues. Drafted and submitted letters addressing critical engineering deficiencies. Influenced the contractor to follow our suggestions and implement corrective measures where required, at little or no cost to the project.Conducted a dimensional check and progress survey at Macchi’s Porto Marghera shop in Venice as part of engineering surveillance of a utility boiler.
