Once finishing with the baseball season and the school year, I have came back to Stone Cliff Inn. to help the back of the house with cooking on the line with a few other chefs. Being there for six years, allowed me to gain a lot of knowledgeable ways to run a well run team of managers. This was something I really loved to do, and a big part of my life. It was tough battling going to school and managing my team of managers on a daily basis. This teaching me a lot about running a team and time management with school and work. Duties:- Handling equipment for the whole program. I would help our Operations guy with handling uniforms, and dealing with any type of equipment that the team needed. - A big thing I was responsible for it setting up practice, and having everything ready for our coaches to run a fluid practice. While having a decent size team of managers to help with setup, it would make practice very fluent and productive. - Setting up game days, which was a very big task. While worrying about our own team and field, we were responsible for taking care of the opposing teams as well.- Washing laundry for the team on a daily basis, and working late nights washing uniforms and laundry loops on game days.- Not only did we have to wash our own teams' laundry, we were asked to wash/fold opposing teams laundry for the whole weekend as well.- It wasn't all setup and equipment duties, we were also asked to fix baseball machines, batting cages, etc. - There are many more tasks that I could list on for ever, but if there is any questions I would gladly answer any of them.Accomplishments:2014- Pac-12 Champions - Regional Host 2015- Post season (Dallas Baptist Regional)2017- Pac-12 Champions- Regional Host - Super Regional host- Omaha (final 8)2018- Regional Host - Super Regional host- Omaha- National Champion2019- Post season (Corvallis Regional)If you have any further questions, I would gladly answer any that you may have. For a brief year, I wanted to experiment with the clothing industry. What it came to be was a t-shirt company. Even though I only produced a small amount of product (100 shirts) I learned a minuscule scale of the business side of running a company. Along this one year journey I taught myself how to advertise my product via social media and word of mouth. This process of getting my product out there was a lot harder than I thought.
