Originally from rural Montana, my professional career began in 2003 with an Army Oath of Enlistment as a Petroleum Specialist. At my first duty station in Seoul, South Korea I was mentored by world class Army leaders and arose through the ranks as fast as military procedure waivers allowed.That fast-tracking promotion pace provided me opportunities for several instructor and leadership courses where I received top honors in both academic and physical performance; ultimately leading to staff level positions far outside the scope of my original enlistment.The Army then sent me to Fort Carson, Colorado and shortly thereafter I became a father.As a small team leader, I simultaneously dominated Noncommissioned Officer of the Month contests; had my team chosen to field test a new 50,000 gallon Army fuel support system in Yuma, AZ; and again was chosen for higher headquarters staff support roles.In 2009 we deployed to Afghanistan as one of the first logistical Sustainment Support Battalions in theater. Upon our return to Fort Carson, I completed my assignment and received orders to Baumholder, Germany.In late 2011 I arrived at 40th Engineer Battalion. As fate would have it, the larger headquarters was finishing an Afghanistan deployment and 7 months later upon their return, I was sent to Fort Riley, Kansas. In Kansas I served as a small team leader; completed a 9 month deployment to Djibouti, Africa; and concluded my Active Duty career.In 2015 I moved to Minneapolis to work exclusively for Bulk Reef Supply, an EOS Traction driven e-commerce saltwater aquarium hobbyist supplier. I got my foot-in-the-door as a Customer Service Representative and shortly thereafter became a YouTube personality alongside co-owner, Ryan Batcheller. Over 5 years we developed a video content-driven sales strategy which grew our YouTube channel from 100k to nearly 250k subscribers and with it, dramatically increased sales.In 2022 I seized the opportunity to implement a similar strategy for AT3 Tactical. There I immersed myself into the firearms industry and became a subject matter expert in AR-15 parts & accessories. Our YouTube presence grew from an audience of 1,300 subscribers to now over 75,000, along with it grew measurable brand awareness and sales.Today I have the opportunity to continue serving my community in a local capacity as an Administrative Assistant. Every day I get to interact with neighbors and residents from young to old and all different walks of life. I am truly blessed to be on this path in life and following my current calling!
