Re-engaging through access. With BOD advocacy in 2017, a new vision for the sailing school was created to respond to community needs and promote access to West Lake Okoboji through a sailing center. This promotion of access reinvigorated forgotten community values. As a result, in 2018, a comprehensive campaign was deployed to rebrand the organization through a new DBA, create relevant community-based programming, and expand facilities.
