About Randy Syring

I am the Chief Executive Developer at Level 12, a web & database development shop that uses solid engineering, proactive communication, and modern development practices to make our customers really, really, happy.I hold a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, an M.A. in Biblical Counseling, and have done work towards an MBA. I'm passionate about the Python programming language, good development practices, automated testing, and engaging the next generation of developers.     Chief Executive Developer (CED) of Level 12 since our founding in 2010. CED is a title I made up, somewhat akin to CEO, but with a real drive and passion for software engineering. I've been the lead executive since our founding and have been involved in all aspects of our mission. Most of my early years were spent primarily coding. The last few years have seen more focus on building out our development teams and business development. In the background I'm keeping an eye on our finances and administrative processes to make sure we are running a tight ship."I'd rather be coding" but would be my favorite bumper sticker. Two weeks alone, working on an open source project, coding Python and writing tests would be a great vacation.
