After writing two screenplays (one that placed in competition), conceived of and founded this award-winning cloud-based service, an online community servicing screenwriters and filmmakers. Raised an angel round; architected service and user stories; participated at TechCrunch50 in 2008. Innovated around the concept of treating a screenplay as data that could be mined to drive efficiencies in pre-production, casting, production, product placement and location scouting. Editor of the site's blog and extensive film / screenwriting / comic-book-writing educational content using the Drupal content-management framework. As part of Crossflo's executive team, set the firm's technology strategy, recruited a team and led the agile development of Crossflo DataExchange, the firm's flagship data-integration platform. Took the product from a proof-of-concept to an enterprise-class platform for accessing varied and large government data sets, and then mapping and transforming these data sets to new models for analysis. Road-mapped the product using internal and customer feedback; helped the sales team close deals; prepared for and presented at board meetings. Led SEA to more than 10x growth in revenues, clients, and employees between 1996 and 2000. Managed relationship with firm's largest client, Brandes Investment Partners (financial services). Played lead role in recruiting, managing and deploying the firm's 100+ person software-engineering and network-infrastructure teams. Worked on two primary engagements, including oversight of Accenture's first Siebel CRM Solution Center on-site at Siebel's headquarters in Silicon Valley, which became the model for solution centers at Big-5 consulting firms across practice areas such as CRM and ERP. Acted as one of Accenture's leads at several Siebel implementations, including helping pitch and close these deals. Other assignment was a package-tracking system for Burlington Air Express. Worked on Excalibur's Electronic File System platform, a document-management system with sophisticated search, OCR, and storage features, and which evolved into one of the Internet's first search engines.
