In October 2012 I became a Staff Sergeant in the position of Watch Commander for the Downtown Division.In September 2011 I was assigned to the Downtown Division Patrol area as a squad sergeant. For close to 8 years I was assigned to the Alberta Integrated Child Exploitation Unit and my responsibility was investigating crimes against children where computers and the Internet are involved. Specifically, I investigated all crimes involving child pornography and all other online child exploitation crimes.I have extensive international training and have facilitated and assisted in major local, national and international child exploitation investigations.I co-taught the Advanced Internet Child Exploitation Investigators Course at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa, Canada since its creation in 2004.
